Abstract

A novel design of printed L-shaped probe fed microstrip patch antenna is presented. This antenna can be designed for broad-band dual-polarization SAR applications. Because of using crossed printed L-shaped probe and air substrate, this antenna has advantages of simple structure, easy fabrication and low cost. The details experimental results for the proposed design are presented and discussed.
