Abstract
The properties of semiconductor laser used in holographic recording and its advantage and potential in holography area are analysed. Based on the discussion of three different kinds of Fourier transforming lenses, the advantage of using Fourier transforming lens in the convergence light is interpreted. The principle of optical design of these lenses is given and also proved by the experimental results.
