title = "Multifrequency readback and scrub method based on detecting key frames",
abstract = "Configuration information readback is a typically used single-event upset mitigation method for static random-access-memory-based field-programmable gate arrays. However, reading all frames at the same frequency results in a low error detection efficiency. Hence, a multifrequency readback and scrub method based on detecting key frames is proposed herein. Using this method, the readback sequence can be dynamically adjusted, and the proportion of key frames in the readback sequence can be increased, thereby improving the efficiency of error detection. In addition, the sequence is updated by inserting key frames at a fixed node of a readback refresh sequence, thereby resulting in a performance similar to that of the ideal sequence with less resource consumption. The proposed method is verified using Xilinx XC7K325T. The results show that, compared with readback of the same frequency, the ability to detect key frames increased by 20 times when using the proposed method. Compared with the ideal sequence, all types of resources of the readback sequence reduced by more than 58.5%.",
