Multi-field modeling and simulation of ABS based on fuzzy control

Abstract

In order to solve the dynamic characteristic of hydraulic brake problem, which is less considered in traditional ABS control research, an ABS fuzzy control method was proposed based on multi-domain modeling. In this method, a simulation model of hydraulic brake and an ABS fuzzy control model was built in AMESim and MATLAB/Simulink separately, the combined simulation method was adopted in the ABS system. The result of simulation indicates that the effect of dynamic characteristic of hydraulic brake to ABS brake capability can be better simulated by using multi-domain modeling. At mean time, the fuzzy control strategy can guarantee the slip ratio reducing 20% rapidly, so that the best braking condition can be achieved.
