Abstract

In the real-time video monitoring system of construction site, there are a lot of redundant fragments or useless fragments. Extracting key frames from the video for processing and storage will greatly reduce the requirement of video storage space for storage equipment. Given all these factors, a multi-channel video compression processing and storage system based on Perceptual Hash Algorithm is designed and developed by studying and simulating three kinds of video key frame extraction algorithms.
