Abstract

In this paper, a modified sub-Coherent Processing Interval (CPI) space-time adaptive processing (STAP) method is proposed to suppress the clutter subspace leakage phenomena by combining with the covariance matrix taper (CMT). The proposed method can effectively suppress the expended clutter caused by the clutter subspace leakage using the same data sample supports. Comparing with the traditional sub-CPI STAP algorithm, the proposed method can give better performance and robustness. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the availability of the proposed method.
