Abstract

Multi-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) radar has the advantages of good portability and high image frame rate. And it also has broad application prospects in monitoring geological disaster warnings such as landslides. In wide-angle, and large depth scenes, traditional algorithms are slower to image. Therefore, this paper proposes a kind of MIMO radar imaging algorithm based on sub-image coherent combination, which can realize fast processing of MIMO radar data. By modeling MIMO echo, phase center approximation compensations, sub-aperture imaging and coherent superposition of sub-image, the two-dimensional imaging results are finally obtained. Finally, the algorithm is verified by the simulation and real data, which proves the accuracy of the imaging and the effectiveness of the algorithm.
