Abstract
To get the attitude information of a rolling airframe missile, a telemetry scheme based on two lateral rate gyros and a roll rate gyro is studied. Affects of the test errors on the accuracy of the system are analyzed through numerical calculations, and it is pointed out that the precision of the roll rate gyro is the linchpin of the system. In the given flight test, a two-axis liquid-floated gyroscope is adopted to replace the two lateral rate gyros. With the test data in the flight test analyzed, the angular motion characteristics of the rolling airframe missile are found, offering a basis for further dynamics analysis. This scheme is easy to realize, simple in its structure and low in cost.
