Abstract
Inter-core crosstalk (IC-XT) is a significant impairment characteristic in multi-core fibers (MCF). We review the existing IC-XT measurement solutions and introduce new methods, including a multiple-loopback measurement solution and an auxiliary management and control channel (AMCC) aided online monitoring solution.
