Abstract

The magnetic properties of ferromagnetic metal-semiconductor matrix granular film have been studied. According to the dependence of low field susceptibility on temperature and the hysterisis loops at different temperatures, it has been found that Fe particles in the film are attributed to two size groups. The magnetic phase of granular film changes with decreasing temperature from superparamagnetic (at room temperature) into mixed magnetic phase (superparamagnetic and ferromagnetic), and finally into antiferromagnetic-like phase (below 10 K). Above the blocking temperature, the MS(T) of the granular films follows the Bloch's T3/2 law. The dependences of MS, HC and TC on particle size have been investigated and discussed.
