Abstract
Temperature control is one of the key factors to determine whether PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) amplification is successful. Compared with conventional PCR, microfluidic PCR possesses more advantages, such as less reagent, smaller heating size, higher heating efficiency and shorter cycle time etc. The reduction of reaction volume requires higher accuracy and speed for the reaction temperature control. A Labview-based microfluidic PCR chip temperature control system had been presented and the 80bp nucleic acid aptamer fragment was amplified successfully by using this control system.
