Abstract

A photonic integrated frequency-tunable microwave photonic bandpass filter consisting of a high-speed phase modulator, a thermally-tunable high-Q microdisk resonator, and a high-speed photodetector, fully integrated on a silicon platform, is designed, fabricated and characterized.
