Abstract

Compared with other operating mode of SAR to widen swath, multi-aperture mode is the one that can achieve both wide swath coverage and high resolution of range and azimuth. To evaluate the feasibility, imaging simulation of multi-aperture mode is given in this paper. For the huge processing data of wide-swath, an 8-node Beowulf clusters is used. The result of imaging simulation shows that range multi-aperture mode can obtain desired image quality.
