Abstract
A novel optimized computation method for designing the Gauss optics parameter of zoom lenses is presented and discussed, including optical compensating method with moving of many groups of lenses by using Chebyshev polynomials and mechanical compensating method with many zoom formations by using nonlinear least square method.
