Abstract

A fuzzy-PI controller is designed to control the temperature of inertial navigation system (INS). In order to shorten the system response time and improve the system precision, the fuzzy-PI control ruler is adopted. According to the Smith predictor, the paper makes use of a method that takes the predictive process error and error change as fuzzy-PI algorithm's input. The method is effective to systems with long dead time. Test results of computer simulation indicated that the fuzzy-PI control of INS temperature was very effective.
