Abstract

This paper addresses the problem of observer-based sliding mode control for nonlinear stochastic time-delay systems represented by Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model. A delay-dependent sufficient condition for the asymptotic stability (in probability) of the overall closed-loop fuzzy stochastic system is derived. Moreover, it is shown that when the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) are feasible, the sliding mode in the estimation space can be attained in finite time. Finally, a simulation example is shown to illustrate the proposed method.
