Abstract
An experimental study on the fuzzy control for the hydrostatic transmission system with the nonlinear and time-varying load was performed, and the experiment results were compared with those of the conventional PID control. The contrast results show that the quality of fuzzy control is better than that of PID control for the hydrostatic transmission of military vehicle. A reference is offered by the study for the purpose of improving the control characteristics of hydrostatic transmission, and it is helpful to the development and application of the hydrostatic transmission in military vehicles.
