Abstract

Aim To study the explosion earthquake wave frequency spectrum characteristics, and provide the evidences for safe design in blasting engineering and rupture in military engineering. Methods The explosion earthquake waves were measured and translated by FFT. The frequency spectrums were analyzed. Results The law of earthquake wave frequency spectrum changing with the distance was found. The affection characteristics of propagation way, charge mass and charge place on the wave frequency spectrum were obtained. Conclusion The low frequency range is dominating for the earthquake wave by the charge buried under ground, compared with those by the charges on or over the ground surface. The high frequency part in the frequency range will increase when the earthquake wave propagates from low to high along the topography.
