Abstract

MCPTT system in off-network mode controls the floor of call session in the decentralized architecture. In the existing protocols, all user requests are rejected simultaneously in the event of collision. This paper proposes an adaptive backoff solution to improve the success rate of the floor request. Based on the analysis and simulation of parameters such as number of nodes and network delay, the results show that the solution can meet the requirements of MCPTT system in terms of request delay, success rate, traffic, and fairness.
