Fast and direct algorithm of hand vein coding

Abstract

In order to improve the efficiency of identification, a fast and direct algorithm of hand vein coding is proposed. Using this, we can code the normalized vein images, and the code can be used for matching directly. This method can also resolve the impact of uneven illumination through image segmentation. Experimental results showed that the proposed method has an accuracy and high processing speed three to four times that of the ordinary case.
