Abstract
Face recognition technology based on identification card has been studied. The paper includes the preprocess of the images; Adaboost algorithm for face and eye detection based on Haar features; image rotation, zooming based on the results of eye detection; image normalization; and using the LBP-pyramid algorithm based on texture features and multiscale space to descript the face features and identify. Through experiments, the achieved process is robust.
