Abstract

Discusses the existence of positive solutions for boundary value problems of second order functional differential equations by applying Schauder's fixd point theorem. To ensure the existence of positive solution, some sufficient conditions are provided without the hypothesis: A ≥ φ (0), 1/2 ≤ T< √ 6, which are necessaug in the published literature.
