Abstract

With the increment of the resolution of optical imaging reconnaissance satellites, in order to evaluate the reconnaissance performance of the satellite to the ground-moving-target, a probabilistic model for detecting the maneuvering target of the optical imaging reconnaissance satellites based on the ACQUIRE model is established. Aiming at the change of maneuvering target position in the satellite acquisition image, the model applies the ACQUIRE model which is used to calculate the detection probability for static targets to the maneuvering target by introducing the concept of search probability and corresponding calculation method. Through the simulation experiment with STK/MATLAB, the coverage to the moving target and the probabilities of detecting, recognizing, and confirming targets are output. The reconnaissance performance of the satellite is measured by the probabilities of detection, recognition, and confirming to the target. The reconnaissance performance of the satellite to the moving target can be used as the basis for planning the maneuvering target action scheme, which can help the maneuvering target avoid the reconnaissance.
