Abstract
A measurement setup based on blade label infrared image generation and detection is described. Using the setup the spatial resolution of an infrared scene generator is measured. A high resolution thermal imager is used to capture the infrared image with blade label which is generated by the scene generator. By processing the collected thermal image, the spatial resolution of the infrared scene generator is calculated. The spatial resolution of the tested infrared scene generator is 5lp/mm and the standard error is 0.04.
