Abstract

Microstrip patch antenna has compact structure, low weight and easy to integrate and has good performance on polarization characteristic. It has become an important part of antenna research. But microstrip antenna is rarely used in W band because of its large loss and port isolation. The design of a dual-polarized microstrip patch antenna for W band is presented in this paper. This 2×2 antenna has achieved a stable radiation performance with gain greater than 13dB and port isolation more than 20dB across the frequency range from 92GHz to 94GHz. And in this range, the VSWR can lower than 2.
