Abstract

Taking a certain hydrostatic drive track vehicle as the research objective, 2 parameters, the climbing margin coefficient and the speed margin coefficient were introduced to characterize its straight driving capability at climbing and maximum speed conditions. The magnitude of the coefficient reflects the capability of the vehicle to overcome the dynamic impact and adapt to different working conditions. The suitable set of coefficients can direct the design of the track vehicle hydrostatic drive system. The research results showed that the straight driving demand of the vehicle was satisfied essentially at the climbing margin coefficient no less than 1.07 and the speed margin coefficient 1.67~1.88.
