Abstract

A miniaturized wireless multimedia sensor network node (WMSN) is proposed, while wireless multimedia sensor network has wide application prospect and prior art is lack in node platform. The node adopts one ADSP-BF561 of ADI and one wireless transceiver IP-Link which is produced by Helicomm and based on Zigbee network protocol. The input channel of the node is adaptable to analogue image sensor and digital image sensor, and the output channel includes a multimedia transmission channel and a data/command transmission channel, wherein the multimedia transmission channel can transmit real-time analogue video, and the data/command transmission channel can transmit effective data processed by the node and receive the command of upper network.
