Abstract

A stacked double-patch microstrip antenna with capacitance-compensated coaxial probe-feed is presented in this paper. This antenna is broadband, circularly polarized (CP) and it has small phase deviation. The simulation results are shown that the impedance bandwidth(VSWR<2) is 45%, the 3dB axial-ratio bandwidth is 45% in the ±35° conic space region. The deviation of the phase center is less than 3mm at the central frequency.
