Abstract

This paper presents a balanced antenna with a complex input impedance,15 + J88 Ω, utilized in the ISM-Band wireless capsule endoscope system. The antenna is placed in the three-layer tissue to implement numerical calculations. Subsequently, after simulation, the modified reflection coefficient is adopted to analyze the return loss of the antenna. The proposed symmetrical balanced antenna has a relatively wider impedance bandwidth than the single-ended antenna and an omnidirectional radiation pattern.
