Abstract

A new method to fuse searching radar and infrared sensor and to implement track maintenance in clutter was developed. Based on adaptive Kalman filter in polar coordinates, the algorithm was implemented with NN method and PDAF to fuse sensors in clutter. Simulation results of tracking antiship missle in clutter were presented and analyzed to show the performance of the new method. The new method has the advantage of flexibility, accuracy and efficiency.
