Abstract

An efficient cobalt-catalyzed method for the synthesis of carbocyclic organosulfur compounds from 1,6-enynes and thiols has been developed. The significance of this methodology is the ability to give three different cyclization products depending on the ligands used. The products were obtained in moderate to good yields with broad substrate scope.
