Abstract

Taking a hydraulic system as the object of control, a study on the telecontrol system is worked out based on Internet. Results of simulation and experiments show that adoption of proper compensator structure and intelligent forecasting algorithms can solve the problem of performance on hydraulic telecontrol systems caused by Internet-inducing time delays, and reduce its uncertainty during the transportation of control information through the Internet. This makes the feasibility of mechanical telecontrol through Internet. The paper introduces other problems requiring study during the realization of the telecontrol system: necessity and method in treating sampling information in the remote end, necessity and the method in the reappearance of Internet-induced time delays, and their uncertainty in the experimental platform.
