Abstract

Molecular imprinting technique (MIT), having predominant recognition and selectivity, is of a good potential in drug detection. Now it is the popularity for detectors to band MIT together with drug determination in the battle against drug abuse. In this article, the basic principle of MIT was introduced, and the applications and development of MIT in drug detection were reviewed, including solid phase extraction, sorbent assay, chemiluminescenice, sensor and chromatographic analysis. The prospect of MIT was also forecast.
