Application of Π equivalent circuit in mathematic modeling and simulation of gas pipeline

Abstract

To simplify the analytic process of the conventional modeling method, an equivalent circuit is constructed to simulate the dynamic analysis of pressurized gas pipeline system. The several Π equivalent circuit models are built for a section of gas pressurized pipeline. The transfer function and scheme for the realization of the simulation model are given in detail. Based on the simulation of frequency responses for the Π equivalent circuit models and the exact model, it is shown that the Π equivalent circuit model is of high simulating accuracy.
