Abstract
The features of frequency-stepped radar signal are analyzed firstly, and the modulated frequency stepped radar signal is advanced based on it. The advantages of this signal are proved theoretically, and its processing method is advanced. The key problem of signal processing, i.e. Doppler influence caused by target motion, is analyzed, and the range walk and quadratic phase error are proved to be the most important influence caused by Doppler effect.
