Abstract

Electromechanical transmission is an inevitable trend for high-power special vehicles to achieve high mobility, great cost-effectiveness, and a high power supply capacity. This type of transmission fuses and integrates mechanical and electrical transmission, and it adds a high-power generator and a drive motor as the component for energy transmission, conversion, and modulation. The conventional evaluation methods that focus on mechanical components can no longer meet the requirements for the evaluation of electromechanical transmission. In order to evaluate the overall performance of the generator modules of electric transmission systems in electromechanical hybrid vehicles, this paper proposes a generator evaluation system. According to the principle of constructing index systems and the basic characteristics of generators, our system is based on the performance layer and the index layer. After determining the evaluation index set, the comprehensive evaluation method based on the analytic hierarchy process is used, and at the same time, the trapezoidal membership function is combined to establish the electromechanical vehicle generator evaluation system. The feasibility of the evaluation system is verified using a real-world example.
