Abstract

Interphone plays a very important role in safety guard system. However its limited communication range restricts its application. As a real-time embedded operation system developed by Wind River, VxWorks is widely used in communication equipments, spacecrafts, weapon platforms, etc. Based on VxWorks, using Ethernet to interconnect the distributed interphones is a novel and promising solution. In this paper, we first propose an interphone system interconnection architecture, and then analyze its working principle. On the basis of this architecture a verification system is implemented with development board APEX-PMC-3010 made by Hwa Create. Furthermore, the involved design method and key techniques are discussed in details.
