An integrated utility based spray and forward routing algorithm for delay tolerant mobile sensor networks

Abstract

Considering the limited network resources, we propose an integrated utility based spray and forward routing algorithm for delay tolerant mobile sensor networks (DTMSN). To deal with the message redundancy, a buffer management scheme is also proposed for this algorithm. Simulation results show that, compared with spray and wait routing (SWR) algorithm, this proposal could achieve better network performances in efficiency, reliability and resource utilization.
