Abstract

The passivated method of accelerator is proposed to avoid the unexpected shifting and frequent shifting of off-road vehicles with AMT. The feasibility and influence complications of the accelerator passivated control strategy were theoretically analyzed. The accelerator signal was treated with step by step method, so the influence of sheer change of the accelerator signal on the shifting was avoided. The control strategy and software are designed. The result of vehicle test approve that the unexpected shifting and frequent shifting of the vehicles which used the passivated control strategy were avoided effectively.
