Abstract

In this paper, the driving cycle for electric cars on Beijing urban ways and suburban ways were respectively built. Further, the comprehensive comparison with the world typical driving cycles and in-depth analysis were taken. Firstly, the final driving cycles were obtained by the related data analysis methods after the road experiment by a reasonable scheme. Secondly, the final driving cycles were compared with the European NEDC American FTP75 and Japanese JI0-15 Driving cycles, and were exhaustively analyzed. The result shows the electric cars driving cycle in Beijing has its own characteristics: The mean speed is low, the idle time is rather long, the acceleration and deceleration occurs frequently.
