A fast method for computing the target visibility time through the radar fence

Abstract

A fast method for computing the space target visibility time through the radar fence is proposed in this paper. According to the initial ascending time and descending time, the initial value search is conducted based on the Two-Body model. A mathematical model of the target distance from the target position to the radar fence plane is established to solve the precise times. Then based on the orbital propagation model, we adopt the numerical method to find the precise roots near the initial times. This method can be adopted to analysis the radar fence with any configuration. The simulation results of the through time verify the accuracy and high-speed of this method.
