Abstract
The separation of transmitter and receiver in the bistatic radar system can cause the time-frequency synchronization error. In this paper, a time-frequency synchronization method is proposed based on navigation signal disciplined frequency standard and direct wave. The method is divided into coarse synchronization stage and precise synchronization stage. Based on the high-precision satellite navigation signal disciplined frequency standard, the time and frequency reference are used to achieve coarse synchronization. The precise synchronization is achieved through compensating synchronization error based on direct wave. The synchronization performance and index of the proposed method are verified through airborne bistatic SAR data, and meet the imaging requirements of bistatic SAR.
