Abstract

Spectral mismatch error influences on measurement of solar cell based on solar simulator and calibrated reference cell is discussed.Experimental results with reference and tested solar cells under two different solar simulators are presented. Spectral mismatch error can be calculated with the relative spectral response of the reference and testedcells, and the relative spectral irradiance of the simulator and standard spectral irradiance. The difference of with or without spectral mismatch modification is discussed. The calculation method and experimental data presented could be helpful to photovoltaic labs to obtain reliable results of solar cells.
