Yang Tong, male, Doctor, Associate Professor/Special Researcher, doctoral supervisor, School of Optoelectronics, Beijing Institute of Technology. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the field of optical imaging and optical design for a long time, and his main research directions include optical design, free-form surface optics, optical and computational imaging, diffraction and micro and nano optics, augmented reality display, etc.

He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the field of optical imaging and optical design for a long time, and his main research directions include optical design, free-form surface optics, optical and computational imaging, diffraction and micro and nano optics, augmented reality display, etc.
He has presided over national key research and development projects, National Natural Science Foundation projects and youth projects, Beijing Natural Science Foundation projects and other national and provincial projects, as well as a number of horizontal projects in cooperation with research institutes/enterprises. Published more than 50 papers, among which the first or corresponding author in Light: Science & Applications, Optics Express, Optics and Lasers in Engineering, Applied Optics, JOSA A and other journals published 25 SCI papers. It has obtained more than 40 authorized invention patents, including 16 U.S. patents. He has won the Jin Guofan Young Student Award and the National Excellent doctoral dissertation in optical engineering. Selected in the 5th China Association for Science and Technology Youth Talent Lifting project (Green care).
He taught the undergraduate courses "Optical System Design and Technology" and "Complex variable Functions and Mathematical Equations", and the graduate course "Optical free-form surface Technology". The graduate students under my guidance have won many honorary titles such as national scholarships, municipal and university-level outstanding graduates, excellent dissertation, or won awards in optical design competitions.
