He is mainly engaged in the research of synthetic biology, microbiome and microecology. The main research content is the rational design of the microbial synthesis pathway of plant natural products, the construction of mathematical models of plant endophyte community and the study of metabolic interaction mechanism. The stoichiometric network analysis technology of biological reaction system is used to predict microbial interaction and the interaction of artificial pathway and metabolic network of chassis cells. Then, combining omics technology and molecular biology technology, industrial microorganisms or microbial flora can be obtained to meet the application needs.
