title = "Theoretical analysis of the dispersion and hazardous range of natural gas pipeline leakage",
abstract = "Gas leakage can cause huge hazards to surrounding residents and buildings, with the ranges and degrees of these hazards depending on the concentration distribution of the leaking natural gas. This paper will investigate the velocity and concentration distribution of natural gas leakage jets. A methodology for computing the natural gas explosive volume and dangerous ranges in the leaking sites is developed according to basic hydromechanics. A practical case study of natural gas pipeline leakage is then analyzed by this methodology.",
