The united detection of the stationary or slow-moving-speed targets in the clutter based on the High Range Resolution (HRR) and Doppler Beam Sharpening(DBS) technique

摘要

During the air-to-ground guidance missile scanning the interested area and detecting the targets, mass ground clutter enters the radar receiver with the targets echo so that the radar couldn't distinguish the targets from the clutter. Therefore the radar's detection capability is seriously influenced by the clutter. Because the ground clutter has the space-time two-dimension property, traditional detection technique can't be used here. The paper present a united detection technique based on the high range resolution(HRR) and Doppler Beam Sharpen(DBS) to fulfill the detection. The united detection technique use the simplified range-doppler arithmetic to get the signal-clutter ratio gain and get the two-dimension multiple scatterer image, thereby improve the radar's detection capability in the clutter. Last, a computer simulation has been done and the result demonstrated the united detection technique has pin good result, and the technique is valid and easy to be carried out.
