The application of numerical simulation on the cause of explosion accident

摘要

The traditional cause-investigation for explosion accident is based on the empirical judgment of the investigators. However, when the cause can not be identified with consensus, the accident will not be dealt with clearly so that a lot of problems will be left behind, such as the prevention measurement, the person who is responsible to the accident, the regulation faults...etc. It is almost impossible to replay the accident in laboratory surroundings since a lot of boundary conditions can not be fulfilled under experimental facilities. Therefore, the numerical simulation becomes very useful in accident cause-investigation. Since it can simulate a lot of assumed causes and get the result promptly, which make the retrace of the accident possible. Meanwhile, a lot of fund and cost will be saved while the accident cause-investigation will be more scientific and reasonable. The presented paper demonstrates how to use the simulation tools for a big explosion cause-investigation.
