摘要

The regulated air pollutants (CO, THC, NOx) and carbonyl compounds emitted from an electronically controlled engine fueled with methanol were measured on a chassis dynamometer. The results show that the three way catalytic converter (TWC) has a better conversion efficiency for regulated and unregulated air pollutants. The emissions of regulated air pollutants (CO, THC, NOx) after TWC can reach the limits specified by GB 14762-2002. The C1~C3 pollutants of formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acrolein and acetone are the main carbonyl compounds emitted from the methanol engine. The specific emission of carbonyl compounds changes from decreasing trend to increasing trend with the increase of engine load, and it increases with the increase of engine speed.
