摘要

This study is to investigate the effects of random interfacial debonded on the elastic constants of carbon fiber reinforced composites. The results reveal that the interfacial debonded fraction (IDF) significantly effects the elastic constants, and the randomness of interfacial debonded position significantly effects the stress distribution, but different interfacial debonded positions at the same IDF have a negligible effect on the elastic constants. The increase of IDF leads to a gradual increase in the disruption of tandem integrity between fibers and matrix, limiting the capability of the interface to transfer loads more significantly.
